computer technology
For me, computer techology is a means to an end and either nifty when it works or screamingly frustrating when it doesn't. Mostly I really like using computers and get great satisfaction when I overcome a problem with a click of the button. I am grateful to the programmers who have made it much easier to use these machines yet do more than we could do 15 years ago.

I can certainly relate to the "screamingly frustrating" part. And I'm finding it hard not to dismiss some of this stuff as totally inane.
i agree with buffalo gal. i love computers when i can get them to work. thankfully, i have patient techy friends who don't make me feel dumb when i ask really simple questions over and over.
